Roger H. Cox
President and CEO
AppDancer Networks, Inc.

Roger H. Cox brings over thirty years of information technology (IT) experience to AppDancer Networks. He is one of three founders of AppDancer and has served as its President and CEO since the company’s founding in December 2000.
Prior to AppDancer Networks, Mr. Cox was one of five founders of Cinco Networks, Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Cinco Networks developed and marketed the world’s first 32-bit GUI based protocol analysis software product, NetXRay. Mr. Cox spearheaded the Cinco worldwide sales team, which quickly established NetXRay as the world’s leading product in this market segment. In the summer of 1997 Mr. Cox and one other executive negotiated the sale of Cinco Networks to Network General Corporation (now Network Associates) in one of the major software acquisitions of 1997. After the acquisition, Mr. Cox became Vice President of Sales at Network General, where he remained until 1998.
Prior to Cinco Networks, Mr. Cox was the sole owner of a data networking and consulting company, Rohco Associates, Inc., which sold products primarily aimed at the IBM SNA networking marketplace. During his tenure at Rohco, Mr. Cox received numerous reseller awards from the vendors he represented.
From 1971 until 1986, Mr. Cox held a variety of technical and sales positions in leading IT organizations including Information Technologies, Inc., Racal Datacom, Honeywell Information Systems, Incoterm Corporation, and the US Department of Defense.
Mr. Cox holds a Batchelor of Science degree in mathematics from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.

Long Jiang

Mr. Jiang has over ten years of software development and engineering management experience in the development of distributed applications, internet products, and network management tools. He participated in defining Window Socket API specification and developed various TCP/IP applications over the years. Prior to AppDancer Networks, Long was a co-founded of Cinco Networks, Inc. in 1996, which provided the industry’s first leading edge Win32 , fully GUI, protocol analyzer.

Samuel Li

Mr. Li has more than 10 years of experience in the areas of Network management, trouble-shooting and network infrastructure equipment. Before co-founding AppDancer Networks, Sam was Chief Product Architect at Network Associates where he was responsible for overseeing the technology, long-term technical vision, and led the engineering team to develop the industries most known and respected product, The New generation of Sniffer. Prior to NAI, Sam was a co-founder of Cinco Networks, where he was Chief Product Architect where he directed the development of the industry’s first leading edge Win32, fully GUI, protocol analyzer. Network General acquired CINCO Networks in 1997. Sam has also served in senior engineering positions at companies like Cisco Systems and Hughes LAN.

Timothy A. O’Neill,
Director of Sales and marketing

Timothy A. O’Neill has more than 30 years of experience in the design, testing, analysis, sales, support and marketing in the communications industry. He is a patent holding engineer and published technologist who has served on several standards committees and has been responsible for many innovative product designs. In the last 14 years he has worked with distinction in companies such as Network General as Director and World Wide Advocate, and Ganymede as Director of Sales Development. Mr. O’Neill holds a BSEE from the University of Houston, where he taught as a fellow.

Mark D. Williams,
Director of Network Engineering

Mark D. Williams has over a decade of experience in the areas of programming, network engineering, data management, and technical consulting within the telecommunications and data communications industries. Mr. Williams has proven his technology competence through his technical experiences with Nortel Networks, Mercantile Bankshares Corporation and Daughters of Charity National Health Systems. Mr. Williams was a Senior Staff Engineer for the Global Data Network Engineering Group for Nortel Networks. At Nortel, Mr. Williams partnered with several large-scale Enterprise clients and Telco’s to design and deploy network solutions integral to the effective operation and management of their networks and communications infrastructures
Prior to joining Nortel in 1997, Mr. Williams served as a Network Management Specialist for Mercantile Bankshares Corporation, overseeing the planning, design and implementation of all corporate networking solutions. Mr. Williams began his career as a programmer supporting the development of mainframe and personal computer programming.
Mr. Williams has his AA in Computer Programming Technology.
