Roger H. Cox
President and CEO
AppDancer Networks, Inc.

Roger H. Cox brings over 30 years of information technology (IT) experience to AppDancer Networks. He is one of three founders of AppDancer and has served as its President and CEO since the company’s founding in December 2000.

Prior to AppDancer Networks, Mr. Cox was one of five founders of Cinco Networks, Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Cinco Networks developed and marketed the world’s first 32-bit GUI based protocol analysis software product, NetXRay. Mr. Cox spearheaded the Cinco worldwide sales team, which quickly established NetXRay as the world’s leading product in this market segment. In the summer of 1997, Mr. Cox and one other executive negotiated the sale of Cinco Networks to Network General Corporation (now Network Associates) in what was considered to be one of the major software acquisitions of 1997. After the acquisition, Mr. Cox became Vice President of Sales at Network General, where he remained until 1998.
Prior to Cinco Networks, Mr. Cox owned Rohco Associates, Inc., a data networking and consulting company, which distributed IBM SNA networking products. During his tenure at Rohco, Mr. Cox received numerous reseller awards for his sales accomplishments from the vendors Rohco represented.

From 1971 until 1986, Mr. Cox held a variety of technical and sales positions in leading IT organizations including Information Technologies, Inc., Racal Datacom, Honeywell Information Systems, Incoterm Corporation, and the US Department of Defense.

Mr. Cox holds a Batchelor of Science degree in mathematics from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama, USA.

Long Jiang
Chief Technical Officer

Long Jiang has over 10 years of software development and engineering management experience, specifically in distributed applications, Internet products, and network management tools. Mr. Jiang participated in defining the Windows Socket API specification and over the years developed various TCP/IP applications.

In 1996, prior to co-founding AppDancer Networks, Mr. Jiang co-founded Cinco Networks, Inc. Cinco Networks developed and marketed the networking industry’s first leading edge Win32 , fully GUI, protocol analyzer.

Samuel Li
Vice President

Samuel Li has more than 10 years experience in network management, trouble-shooting and network infrastructure equipment design. Prior to co-founding AppDancer Networks, Mr. Li was Chief Product Architect at Network Associates, Inc. (NAI), where he was responsible for overseeing NAI’s technology and their long-term technical vision. In addition, Mr. Li led the engineering team development of the new generation Sniffer product line.

Prior to his work at NAI, Mr. Li co-founded Cinco Networks, where he was their Chief Product Architect. In this capacity he directed the development of the industry’s first leading edge Win32, fully GUI, protocol analyzer. In 1997 Network General acquired CINCO Networks. Mr. Li has also served in senior engineering positions at Cisco Systems and Hughes LAN Systems.

Timothy A. O’Neill,
Director of Sales and Marketing

Timothy A. O’Neill has more than 30 years of design, testing, analysis, sales, support and marketing experience in the communications industry. He is a patent holding engineer and a published technologist. Mr. O’Neill has served on several technical/industry standards committees and has been responsible for many innovative product designs. From 1988-2002 Mr. O’Neill worked with distinction at Network General as their Director and World Wide Advocate, and at Ganymede as their Director of Sales Development.

Mr. O’Neill holds a BSEE from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas, USA where he also taught as a fellow.

Mark D. Williams,
Director of Network Engineering

Mark D. Williams has over a decade of telecommunications data communications industry experience, specifically in the areas of programming, network engineering, data management, and technical consulting. As a Senior Staff Engineer for Nortel Networks, Global Data Netowrk Engineering Group, Mr. Williams successfully partnered with several large-scale enterprise clients and telcos to design and deploy network solutions integral to the effective operation and management of their networks and communications infrastructures.

In 1997, prior to joining Nortel, Mr. Williams served as a Network Management Specialist for Mercantile Bankshares Corporation, where he oversaw the planning, design and implementation of all corporate networking solutions. Mr. Williams began his career as a programmer, supporting mainframe and personal computer programming development.

Mr. Williams holds an AA in Computer Programming Technology.
